CODE OF CONDUCT

For over 40 years, Ferris Avenue has been home to some of the best streetball in New York, but first and foremost, it’s our home. Out of respect for Ferris Avenue residents and neighbors who live here year-round, we ask everyone who visits to help us keep the community safe, clean and welcoming.

Whether you’re a player, coach, spectator, media or even staff, we ask that you honor the following guidelines:

  • RESPECT THE NEIGHBORHOOD

Be considerate of the people who call this neighborhood home. When you leave the park, please keep noise levels down and avoid disruptive behavior.

  • MIND YOUR PARKING

Do not double park, block driveways or park in front of 155 Ferris Avenue. 155 Ferris Avenue is an active residential building, and cars who block its entrance will be towed immediately.

  • OVERFLOW PARKING OPTIONS

If there is no more parking on Ferris Avenue, additional parking is available at Church Street School (295 Church Street, White Plains, NY) and the White Plains Train Station (16 Ferris Avenue, White Plains, NY).

  • KEEP IT CLEAN

Throw away your trash. Food containers, bottles and wrappers belong in the garbage cans—not on the ground or someone’s lawn.

  • DRIVE WITH CARE

To protect people walking or driving through Ferris Avenue and its neighboring streets, please drive slowly, attentively and responsibly.

  • BATHROOMS ARE AVAILABLE

To access our bathrooms, walk past the second court toward the grass and park shed. Bathrooms are open during all games.

  • NEED HELP? ASK STAFF

If you need help or have any concerns, please speak to a member of the Ferris World Ball team. They will be wearing “STAFF” badges.

  • RESPECT EVERYONE

Our players, coaches, staff, media, spectators and neighbors all deserve respect. While competitive intensity is expected, disrespectful behavior, harassment or targeted aggression—verbal or physical—will not be tolerated.

  • PROTECT THE LEGACY

If you love what Ferris World Ball has become, help us protect it. Everyone has a role to play in keeping this tournament alive and thriving.
